The Providence VA Medical Center and the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology are seeking an academic gastroenterologist to join the Department of Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The successful candidate will serve as staff gastroenterologist at the Providence VAMC and a faculty member of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Applicants must have demonstrated truly excellent qualifications in clinical care and education, and be supportive of research. Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology is required. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology, as well as performance of general endoscopic procedures. Proficiency and experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures is required. Experience in biliary, and pancreatic disorders and skills in advanced procedures (EUS/ERCP) are preferred. Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and an unrestricted medical license. Successful candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English. Applicants must be US citizens; however, non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens. Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical X Series

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for one full-time position in the Clinical X Series at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The position will be primarily dedicated to providing outstanding clinical patient care and clinical research in the area of inflammatory bowel disease with a focus on clinical trials and outcomes research. The Division cares for a large and diverse patient population with IBD and has an established clinical trials unit. Candidate is expected to have training and experience in the treatment of IBD and performance of clinical trials. Excellence in teaching is required. Candidate must be board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology and eligible for a California medical license. Completion of an IBD Fellowship is highly desirable. Appointees to the Clinical X series are required to engage in creative activity that can include clinical/translational research, teaching, patient care and university service. Rank will be commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Academic Hepatologist

The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, is accepting applications for a Hepatology faculty position in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division. This position is Open Rank and Open Track. The applicants must be BC/BE in Hepatology and/or Gastroenterology by date of hire and eligible to work in the U.S. Experience in education, research, and clinical service is highly desirable.
