Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic’s Department of Medicine in conjunction with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is searching for a new faculty member to join our expanding Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. We seek a BC/BE gastroenterologist to work as a generalist treating all standard gastroenterologic and hepatologic disorders. The candidate should have an interest in research; experience in outcomes research or nutrition is preferred. Our growing, progressive Section offers strong collaborative research opportunities in the basic sciences and a superior outcomes research program. The appointment incorporates clinical and teaching responsibilities in outpatient and inpatient settings, and in the endoscopy center, including supervision of fellows, residents and medical students. Academic rank/salary commensurate with qualifications.

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) professional staff is seeking full-time Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologists committed to quality patient care, teaching, and research related to GI/Liver disorders. Proficiency in diagnostic & interventional upper/lower endoscopic procedures is required and desirable in ERCP; share call schedule, participates in the education/supervision of procedure training for GI Fellows; review & triage consult referrals to the GI clinics; apply national & VA guidelines to patient screening, surveillance and management of GI disorders. SAVAHCS is directly affiliated with the University of Arizona. Academic appointment is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, has an immediate opening for a full time Transplant Hepatologist. This position will work with the Liver Center, Transplant Center, and GI Services to provide inpatient and outpatient care through the spectrum of liver disease management and transplant services (pre-transplant screening, in-house evaluations and management of medical problems during the transplant and post transplant continuum). The position will also participate in the development of clinical protocols, quality and performance improvement programs, comply with requirements as set forth by TJC, DOH, CMS, UNOS, and participate in call-coverage as assigned. The position will report to the Medical Director, Liver Center.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (EC FMG) certification.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology.
  • Eligible to meet requirements as UNOS primary MD in liver transplantation.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • During the period of employment, shall be and remain a member of the medical staff in good standing with appropriate privileges without restriction.
  • Qualified for an appointment on the faculty of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine.
