Gastroenterologist Opportunities

Digestive Care Center of Evansville is growing! DCC is southwest Indiana’s premiere gastroenterology practice serving the entire tri-state region. Founded in 1971 as a single physician practice, we have steadily grown to become the area’s largest digestive care group. Our physician-owned group practice is comprised of a team of gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, a general surgeon, and nurse practitioners.

Our Evansville, IN location is seeking a full-time gastroenterologist with ERCP training to join our multi-specialty group practice. This is an innovative practice looking to expand our highly respected, and well trained team. Th is opportunity includes working in the clinic, endoscopy center and the area’s 2 major hospitals, St. Mary’s and Deaconess. The endoscopy center has state-of-the-art Olympus equipment, 4 procedure rooms, and a team of 5 CRNA’s providing propofol sedation. Both the group and endoscopy center are wholly owned and operated by the group. Due to Evansville’s unique geographical location and it’s size in relation to other cities, the practice draws upon a large patient population of roughly 900,000.

Our satellite location in Jasper, IN has an outstanding opportunity with growth potential and the ability to have partnership with practice buy in. The Jasper location is staffed with a full time Gastroenterologist and ACNP, with coverage available from Evansville physicians. Th e GI-trained nurse practitioner serves to support the group’s reach in providing both consultative and hospital based care, which allows the physician more time to perform procedures and provide more focused consultative services. We serve on the medical staff of Jasper Memorial Hospital. Memorial Hospital employs more than 1,500 people providing medical care for more than 7,000 inpatients and 230,000 outpatients annually. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of acute medical services in a modern 143-bed facility.

We serve both communities by offering access, convenience, trusted expertise and the most advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care available in the Tri-State. Both southern Indiana locations have easy access to the metropolitan cities of Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis and Cincinnati. The city of Evansville and the surrounding counties have a population of approximately 360,000 and are bordered on the south by the Ohio River.

The positions offer competitive compensation, flexible call schedule, employer funded Medical, Disability and Malpractice Insurance, 401K/Profit Sharing Retirement Plan, moving allowance, CME allowance, and generous vacation time.
