The Gastrointestinal Unit of the Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking applications from qualified individuals for a position as a clinician or clinician investigator with a focus on gastrointestinal motility disorders. The MGH Digestive Health Center has a nationally recognized and growing program in motility that provides comprehensive medical and surgical care and patient oriented research in motility disorders. The position will include a majority of time in clinical care and motility testing, and time will be protected for research and teaching. Prior clinical research experience is desirable. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in gastroenterology. Digestive Disease Medicine of Central New York, an eight physician gastroenterology group, is seeking a dedicated GI Hospitalist. The hospitalist will work 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday with no call. Compensated call is available if desired as well as four weeks paid vacation and one week CME. Compensation is $450,000. per annum with paid malpractice, health and dental insurance and an excellent pension benefit plan. Duties will include doing consults and in-patient procedures at two hospitals within 2.5 miles of each other. Each hospital has an experienced PA or NP doing consults and rounding. Procedures average 8 – 12/day. ERCP’s, EUS, EMR are done by one of our physicians who specializes in advanced procedures.

Rapid City Medical Center is actively recruiting another Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join their five person GI department, which is part of a larger 34-physician multi-specialty group in Rapid City, South Dakota. They are the largest group practice in South Dakota and wholly physician-owned. The practice is the only GI practice in Western South Dakota. The closest GI group is in Sioux Falls, SD, which is 340 miles away. There are five full-time gastroenterologists in the group, one part-time gastroenterologist, and two GI nurse practitioners. Two gastroenterologists in the group do ERCP/biliary procedures. Advanced endoscopic skills including ERCP/EUS are desirable but not essential.
