Our 7-physician GI group in Central New York is actively seeking 2 additional gastroenterologists to meet the needs of our very busy all-GI practice.
Physicians will enjoy a diverse medical community with a large patient population and an extensive referral base. Much of the new physician’s time will be spent in our state-of-the-art award winning endoscopy center with in-house anesthesia, a pathology lab, CT scanner and an infusion suite. 1 in 9 weeks will be spent as GI hospitalist covering the 2 local hospitals, along with 2 mid-levelers. Call will be 1 in 9 weeks with mid-levels taking fi rst call making for a generally easy on-call evening. Th e practice currently has 9 excellent mid-level providers. Our new physician will quickly be earning in the top 5% of GI’s nation-wide. Due to how our hospital rotation is structured most days will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. making for plenty of free time and an excellent quality of life.

There is a top 10 ranked liberal arts college and 4 other institutions of higher learning in the immediate area. Endo Centers, Path Lab, Anesthesia Research
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our well-respected single-specialty practice. Our 21 physicians include four hospital-based interventionalists, two Hepatologists, one Pathologist and one Radiologist. The interventionalists perform real-time ultrasound-guided biopsy and therapeutic interventions, complex therapeutic pancreaticobiliary endoscopy, celiac plexus blocks, deployment of endoprostheses, hemorrhoidal band ligation, etc. We operate two fully-certified Endoscopy Centers, a Pathology Lab, an Anesthesia company and have a large research staff, which is involved in approximately thirty clinical research and medical device protocols. Opportunities to teach Residents are available.
The appropriate candidate is a personable individual who can work independently within the framework of a large group and who has strong clinical, endoscopic and interpersonal skills.
