ACG guideline covers management of bleeding ulcers

ACG’s new guideline for managing patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding from gastric or duodenal ulcers calls for an intravenous infusion of erythromycin before an endoscopy to improve diagnostics and reduce the need for the procedure to be repeated.
