Patient satisfaction is key for physicians, survey finds

A PricewaterhouseCoopers study found consumers who use personalized services in the marketplace judge their physicians along similar lines, so doctors and hospitals should offer personalized care to improve patient satisfaction, which can affect payments. The survey found only 8% of people said price was their top consideration in selecting a physician or hospital and 90% were willing to recommend their hospital or doctor to others if they had a positive experience.
