ACG GI Jeopardy 2013 Winners – Cleveland Clinic

Who will unseat the current GI Jeopardy Champions and bring home the coveted trophy?

Are you and your co-fellows up for a friendly competition among GI training programs across North America? Are you ready to bring the “GI Cup” home to your institution? It’s time to gear up for the return of ACG’s GI Jeopardy!

The competition consists of two stages, an online preliminary round where all GI programs are invited to compete and a final round where two-person teams from the top five scoring programs will compete in front of a live audience on October 18th at the 2014 ACG Postgraduate Course in Philadelphia, PA. Travel expenses will be covered by ACG for the 5 finalist teams.

ACG has provided both your Program Director and Coordinator with a unique access code for your training program. The test consists of 54 questions on a variety of GI diseases and organs. This online preliminary round is designed as a group session for the program’s trainees. While there is no limit to the number of trainees who may participate in the group answering the online questions, two rules apply —– (1) only fellows-in-training may participate, and (2) each training program’s group will be permitted to take the test only one time. Programs will be ranked based on the number of correct answers and the time it takes to complete the test.

The official competition site is now open. Deadline for completion of the online preliminary round is Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.
