OH 2016 Medicaid Reimbursement Rates Restored
ACG wanted to provide an important update for membership on a state issue. As ACG OH members know, in 2014, Ohio Medicaid quietly slashed Medicaid rates for the professional component of all GI procedure codes. In response, ACG joined a coalition of national and state GI societies in opposition to these cuts, and also voiced our objection to ACG members and others regarding the lack of transparency in their implementation. This coalition also met with Medicaid officials in January 2015 and worked together throughout the year to reverse these cuts.
ACG Governors from OH are happy to report back to you that beginning in 2016, these cuts have been reversed and restored. We will continue to advocate for ACG members in Ohio on this and other important issues impacting members in Ohio. Please find the 2016 OH Medicaid reimbursement rates here.

The ACG Board of Governors is one of the most unique aspects of the American College of Gastroenterology. Governors are ACG Fellows that are elected from the membership of a particular state or region. There are currently 76 Governors across seven different regions in the U.S. and abroad. The Board of Governors acts as a two-way conduit between College leadership and the membership at-large. This helps the College make certain that it is meeting the evolving needs of the membership.
