Certification of Covid-19 Vaccination:

To support safely and responsibly convening at ACG’s educational programs, the College’s Board of Trustees voted that the COVID-19 vaccination be required of attendees and exhibitors on-site at our Regional Courses, until further notice. While the College sees a reasonable likelihood that we can convene safely in the current environment, ACG cannot guarantee that no one will be exposed to COVID-19. ACG will continue to monitor the highly fluid situation and will make all necessary and appropriate adjustments as our conferences approach. All attendees will be required to attest to the following statement at the time of registration:

I attest that I will be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, based on the CDC guidelines at the time of the course.

Course Description:

Join colleagues in Nashville for ACG’s new 1-day Endoscopy School and weekend Southern Regional Postgraduate Course. ACG’s inaugural Endoscopy School, to be held on Friday, December 2, is a day-long comprehensive endoscopic program that features both didactic and hands-on components. This “deep dive” in endoscopy will be of particular interest to community-based gastroenterologists who seek comprehensive training and education that is not centered around any single device or procedure. This program is designed to better enable clinical gastroenterologists to diagnose and treat patients more efficiently.

Led by Course Directors Dawn Beaulieu, MD, FACG and Jason Kupec, MD, FACG, the Southern Regional Postgraduate Course, offered on Saturday and Sunday, December 3-4, will explore areas the gastroenterologist often faces in clinical practice and addresses management updates in a variety of gastrointestinal and hepatic areas. During this course, multiple topics will be covered including IBD, upper and lower GI, liver, pancreaticobiliary as well as a session on toolkits for the gastroenterologist. The structure of the program includes a mix of didactic presentations delivered by expert faculty, case presentations, and significant question and answer opportunities.

Both programs will take place at the new Grand Hyatt Hotel which is located on Broadway at Nashville Yards — an 18-acre complex of retail, entertainment, hospitality, office and residential mixed with green spaces and plazas. The hotel is within walking distance of the Gulch and Midtown and features a rooftop bar, spa, and seven food and beverage outlets.
