Your Digestive Health: Nourish to Flourish

The College is honored to join the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO) in observing World Digestive Health Day (WDHD) on Thursday, May 29, 2025, with the theme of “Your Digestive Health: Nourish to Flourish.” ACG supports WGO in its objectives to provide the public with information about prioritizing nourishing foods and making informed lifestyle choices to proactively maintain digestive health, reduce the risk of gastrointestinal disorders, and improve overall quality of life.

The College’s commitment to nutrition and digestive health includes developing clinical guidelines for physicians, providing the most up-to-date recommendations to guide physicians in treating digestive diseases and conditions. ACG also develops one-page health information handouts for patients using simple language.
