Course Description:

ACG Summer School Series: Women in Leadership, IBD School & Esophagus School is Designed to Meet the Needs of the GI Team.

Bring your entire practice and join colleagues at these three outstanding programs developed specifically for gastroenterologists, gastroenterology trainees, primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, therapists, and other members of the GI patient care team interested in the latest information on hepatic disorders and diagnostic GI, and the state-of-the-art treatment of these illnesses.

ACG Leading with Guts: Women Shaping the Future of Gastroenterology Course returns to combine career and life balance strategies designed to ensure your success in GI leadership. Network with fellow colleagues, share your experiences, and benefit from rewarding peer-to-peer mentoring in a collegial environment. This program will feature a special networking session on characteristics of effective leaders and ways to incorporate those traits into your leadership style. This unique program highlights the challenges gastroenterologists face in practice, along with ways to build resilience, professional success, and career satisfaction in a changing healthcare environment.

ACG IBD School is an interactive program offered on Friday and Saturday, June 5-6, 2026, featuring leading experts who will discuss the latest updates in IBD management. Incorporating the NEW ACG IBD guidelines and emerging therapeutic strategies, the program offers an in-depth exploration of IBD diagnosis and treatment. The course also highlights preventative care and management of IBD. This program is designed to enable clinical gastroenterologists and their advanced practice provider colleagues to diagnose and treat patients more efficiently.

ACG Esophagus School, is a comprehensive esophagus program offered on Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, 2026. This “deep dive” into the esophagus will be of particular interest to community-based gastroenterologists who seek comprehensive evidence-based education on all things esophagus. This program is designed to better enable clinicians to diagnose and treat patients more efficiently. Topics include GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, achalasia, and EoE, as well as current and emerging treatments and therapies.

To make your hotel reservation, you may book online or call 800-228-9290. The special meeting rate is $229 for a standard guestroom plus taxes (currently 15.95%).

Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm EDT on Thursday, May 15, 2026 in order to receive the special meeting rate. Only a certain number of rooms are available at this rate and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once ACG’s room block is sold out, the hotel may charge a higher rate for any additional rooms made available. Requests for reservations received after this date will be on a space-available basis only. All reservations require a deposit of one night’s room and tax.
