Eligibility for the ACG Established Investigator Bridge Funding Award

This form is required as part of the application process for the ACG Established Investigators Bridge Funding Award. ACG’s approval letter is required for inclusion in your application through ACG’s grant portal www.gi.org/research-awards (the grant submission deadline is December 7, 2026). ACG Bridge Funding provides investigators with short-term bridge funding to sustain an investigator’s independent research program between federal grants and is only available to ACG members. If you have an active R01 grant or equivalent, please consider applying for the Clinical Research Award grant category.

Full ACG membership in good standing is required. Applicants must have an approved ACG membership no later than October 2026 (Applications are due by September 4, 2026)

Are you a U.S. or Canadian based physician (MD or DO)?*

Are you between 8 to 15 years out of fellowship or a terminal training program (fellowship or terminal training completed between 2011 and 2018)?*
