MOC (MOC is only available until March 1 of the year following the course)

ACG 2018, Postgraduate Course, and Optional Friday Courses
Successful completion of these CME activities, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for each activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

ACG 2018 attendees will need to complete their ACG CME evaluation(s) and ABIM MOC assessment(s) soon after the meeting. ABIM Board Certified physicians need to complete their MOC activities by December 31, 2018 in order for the MOC points to count toward any MOC requirements that are due by the end of the year. ABIM will continue to accept participant completion data for ACG 2018 until March 1, 2019. No ABIM MOC credit may be awarded after March 1, 2019 for any ACG CME activity held in 2018.

Participants who wish to receive MOC points for their participation in the ACG 2018 must FIRST complete their meeting evaluation and claim the CME credit commensurate with their participation in the course. Evaluations for CME can only be completed online at https://evals.gi.org/am/2018/.

The MOC link on the evaluation page will be available. Access to the MOC assessment is only provided AFTER completing the course evaluation and claiming CME credit.

Participants are asked to reflect on and summarize what they have learned and indicate what they will do differently, stop doing, or keep doing in their practice with more confidence relative to identified key learning objectives from the course. A minimum of 2-3 sentences is required for an acceptable submission. All assessments are reviewed. Awarded MOC points will be removed if responses do not meet the passing standard. Participants are required to enter their 6-digit ABIM ID number and date of birth to submit their completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. A message indicating a successful submission is displayed. Please allow up 2-3 business days for your MOC credit to appear on your ABIM account at abim.org. If there is a problem with the submission, participants should follow the instructions in the prompt to re-submit or contact ACG at education@gi.org for assistance.
