ACG/VGS/ODSGNA Regional Postgraduate Course: 11 CME Credits, 11 MOC Points

Course Description:

Join colleagues in Williamsburg for ACG’s 1-day Hepatology School and weekend ACG/VGS/ODSGNA Regional Postgraduate Course. ACG’s Hepatology School, to be held on Friday, September 11, is a day-long interactive program that provides comprehensive education for GI clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of liver disease states. This program is designed to better enable clinical gastroenterologists and their advanced practice provider colleagues to triage, treat, and refer patients more efficiently. The ACG/VGS/ODSGNA Regional Postgraduate Course will be offered all day Saturday and a half-day Sunday, with an agenda that will include presentations on management of eosinophilic gastritis and enteritis, managing the short bowel syndrome patient, chronic pancreatitis, nutrition in chronic liver disease, dysplasia surveillance in IBD, advances in EUS for vascular and liver disease, management of gas and bloating, and an update on nonvariceal upper GI bleeding. In addition, a Red Journal Wrap-Up presentation, an update on the Virginia Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, and a talk on managing your brand in the era of social media are scheduled. The program will also feature a special ODSGNA-sponsored Endoscopy Boot Camp on Saturday afternoon, as well as the always popular fellows’ case presentation session.
