Study links childhood obesity to higher urothelial, colon cancer risk

Childhood obesity raises the risk for urothelial and colorectal cancer in adulthood, Israeli researchers reported. The study looked at the data of 1.1 million men and found that those who were considered obese during adolescence had 50% higher risk for urothelial or colorectal cancer later in life than their normal-weight peers.
