ACG/LGS Regional Postgraduate Course: 11.5 CME Credits, 11.5 MOC Points

Course Description:

Join your colleagues at one of the fastest growing gastroenterology learning weekends in the country. Outstanding faculty in a collegial setting produce a conference that delivers the opportunity to learn, interact, and network with GI thought leaders and colleagues from around the nation. This year’s course offers attendees the opportunity to gain cutting-edge knowledge on topics such as ERCP, hepatitis B, IBD, pancreatitis, obesity, eosinophilic esophagitis, ulcerative colitis, GI bleeding, SIBO, and social media, while enjoying the sights, sounds, and tastes of New Orleans. The current pace of scientific discovery makes mastery of advancing knowledge, new diagnostic techniques, and progress in therapeutics a challenge for the gastroenterologist or generalist. At the same time, the rigors of the profession demand a deeper understanding of changes occurring within the healthcare system. Nationally-recognized expert faculty will provide insight into these areas through a combination of didactic presentations and interactive discussions. Attendees will leave the program ready to immediately implement the knowledge gained to improve their clinical practice. This program is designed for gastroenterologists, gastroenterology trainees, primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners interested in the latest information on diagnostic GI and state-of-the-art treatment of GI illnesses.
