ACG Case Reports Journal (ACGCRJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication that provides GI fellows, private practice clinicians, and other members of the health care team an opportunity to share interesting case reports with their peers and with leaders in the field. The journal is edited by a team of GI fellows. Articles are published online for free to all readers, and feature images and videos in addition to case descriptions. ACGCRJ was created to help fulfill ACG’s commitment to providing growth and learning opportunities for GI fellows, and helps fellows meet core curriculum requirements for non-patient care activities. All case submissions must have a GI fellow or a resident interested in pursuing GI fellowship as the lead author. ACGCRJ publishes case reports, images, and letters to the editor in all topics of gastroenterology and hepatology. ACGCRJ is fully indexed, and while it does not have an impact factor, the journal is included in the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index, which is included in their Core Collection. Starting in 2022, an open access article processing charge of $500 will be billed upon manuscript acceptance for non-members. All publication fees are waived for ACG members.
