A study of people who had colorectal cancer has identified a link between high consumption of carbohydrates and recurrence of the disease. The study looked at more than 1,000 adults who had been treated for stage 3 cancer with surgery and chemotherapy. The study does not prove a causal link between high-carb diets and cancer recurrence.
